the only thing i dont like very much is that its difficult to see how much HP or MP the characters have yet.

Yeah, when the HP/MP is/are low, right?

It doesn't have that problem, but it's so... Childish, plain... I don't know ;s

I like the bars like they are in the (so-far) final release, they're stylish - but you're right. The emptier they get, the darker they become. I can release a 'User Suggestion' version, but my skin isn't attracting a lot of attention at the moment ;P
