suggestion: the DJA input is a bit too much of a hassle for such a feature which should be more intuitive - not to mention it interferes with many characters moves such as rudolfs transform, henrys multi shot, julians mirror image ...
ive suggested a JA input and send silva a sample edit - however the ai fix for that seems to make it slower with changing levels, and on top of that i know that quite a few ppl have difficulties pressing these two buttons simultanously
so- nave, as you are most active on this - maybe you could try to implement the checking sequence right into the normal crouching right before a basic jump? should be much more intuitive
edit: added the data for the JA sample - gotta ask silva for the AI fix in case he figures it out completely
