gonna make it allow you to change your controls (I always hated it when I click game start and then find out the controls and/or name is wrong). and yea i'll fix the jump button stuff.

no you can't play anything yet. I've yet to do the loading of data for type 1~type 6 + loading sounds into the sound bank thingy. I just set up the initial interface because I want the functionality to be there, before I go and code anything else. like, I want to code each section in a way so that I can add more stuff in easier later (like the game mode selection menu is one class, the character selection menu is another, etc.). I'll code the game section as soon as I can, but I want to get the documentation for everything done first (about half of the whole sourcecode used in this last release isn't documented), because it's hugely important for me to re-understand my code at a later point. Plus I've got all those bug fixes to fix.
Anyways, I thought it would be good for me to keep releasing stuff early so that bugs can be dealt with early on (don't really want to do a huge bug fix session in the future). Anyways, you should be able to expect some form of reasonable gameplay at the end of june/early july. I've got some more tests/assignments/projects (uni starts tomorrow; sad =\).
p/s: if you add type 0s to the data.txt, they would show up in the char selection menu. I've forgotten what I've done for the hit_X and opoints but I think the thing just loads it.
