But like no one correctly said, using the hit_d: for the retransformation frame will disable defending AND ALL SPECIAL MOVES (cuz they all begin with DEFEND button)
All special moves begin with the defend button, but not with the defend frame.
You can still perform special moves if you add a hit_d: tag to the standing frames.
