its a quotation out of a book of terry pratchett where the patrician talks to a fraud who should be hanged. And he wants to give him a last chance.

and if your power is that thing with the stickman: The story would somehow have gone strange. Crimson stickmans, soldiers from another planet...

While I was gone I realized that "Stickman" wasnt exactly a good choice for a race classification for my character. That's why you see "The Crimson One" in my signatures instead of the Red Stickman. I don't use that title anymore/
