Uhmm... you mean he can only pickup some weapons, others not?
You would need to mod all weapon files: Give all that ones you can pick a additional pickup body on y: xxxx and then turn the y-value of itr/kind2 (2? not sure) in the frames 60 and 65 to that xxxx.
Then your char won't be able to pickup any weapons besides the "modified" ones.
