[Zabobula]

The news had gotten to Z that Julian had taken over Noir’s body and become even more powerful. One of Julian’s servants, Mihara, had found him taking refuge in the forest. She truly was a symbol of Julian’s influence as everything on her, except her skin and eye color, was purple. Her dress extended down to her ankles where she wore purple high-heels. Her eyes were hazel and had the impression of deceit and mischief. (From Z’s perspective anyways)
“Well now, how interesting to find the ‘Crimson One’ cowering behind some bushes.”
Z came from out of the darkness into small rays of light barely making his face visible. “What do you want, wench?”
“I am Julian’s messenger, he sent me to get an answer from you.”
“I’m listening.” Z said taking a few steps closer to the woman clothed in purple garb.
Z stopped a few feet away from her, but then Mihara began taking small steps toward the redhead. Her eyes lowered in a sultry manner and she smirked slightly as she walked past him on his left side. They were both facing each others sides; Z looked forward while Mihara turned her eyes on him.
“Since you lost the ring that Julian gave to you, you have lost your ability to separate yourself from your inner ‘being’. But do you also realize that because you lost the ring, you have also become an enemy of Julian?”
“I am well aware of that.” Z responded.
“You do realize he can come after you at any time, correct?” Mihara added.
Z was getting frustrated the longer she continued to ask him questions. The rays of light began dimming as the sun hid behind a cluster of clouds in the sky barely seen through the thick and heavy foliage of the forest. Mihara felt something strange being in Z’s presence as she noticed the quickly dimming rays. She pressed the issue as fast as she could as she began to feel uncomfortable.
“Well?”
“I’m actually glad that I lost that damn ring. It made me weaker than I am now.”
Z’s response quickly grabbed Mihara’s attention. The redhead continued…
“When I and the being inside me separated for the first time, I was relieved to have that spirit outside of my body. I was happy to have new power that was now my own, but…”
Mihara’s increased interested prompted her to expedite an answer out of Z. “But what?”
“But, it wasn’t the same. Or rather, it wasn’t as strong as the power that I felt with the being inside of me. It made me feel weak and depressed. And I also learned a truth that I have come to grips with.”
Z looked at Mihara now who suddenly eased back. “Tell Julian to reconsider coming after me.”
Mihara’s face quickly turned to disgust. “You think you’re stronger than Lord Julian? He’d crush you in an instant.”
“If that’s the case,” Z began turning to face Mihara completely, “then tell him that I will come after him myself, when the time comes.”
Mihara glared at Z and gritted her teeth. Her hands slowly moved behind her back and Z quickly sprung into action taking her to the ground.
As Z positioned himself over her, holding her hands that were now holding small daggers, he smirked and said. “You’re a loyal servant to your master, Mihara, I’ll give you that. I will spare your life if you go and deliver my message to him.”
Mihara lowered her head and nodded. “Fine.”
Z rose off of her and let her get up. Mihara dusted herself off and looked at the redheaded man with unusual concern. He turned and walked away from the woman in purple.
“I hope that you’ll come to your senses before it’s late for you.” Mihara said as Z continued to walk into the shadows of the forest.
“I hope that I do as well, for both our sakes.”
Mihara was confused by his last statement but realized that he wasn’t talking about him and her. She smiled slightly and took off into the distance.
