Nave: Guys, I could help you out by firing some bolts of light into the camp, it would blind some of them, at least for some time.
SirFrog: Okay, just give a sign before you're about to do it.
Drahcir: I'll be having a showdown with the leader.
Bamboori: No way, he's too powerful!
SirFrog: We must risk it. The more distractions, the better.
Phil: Okay, go, go!
...
SirFrog: So it's us two left to aid Blue Phoenix when he gives a signal.
Bamboori: I hope everything goes after plan.
SirFrog: If not, we'll get together and run. Easy.
Bamboori: Let's hope so.
SirFrog: Whoa, duck!
SirFrog pushes Bamboori's face into the mud while he himself falls to the floor.
SirFrog: Sh! A guard!
Bamboori lifts his head a bit and sees a guard approaching.
Bamboori: The plan!
SirFrog hides behind a wide tree, Bamboori plays dead on the floor, covered by leaves. The guard approaches, Bamboori's heart beats faster. Finally the guard reaches Bamboori.
Guard: Now what's this?
He bends down towards Bamboori. SirFrog silently approaches him from behind, covers the bandit's mouth with one hand and throws the guard to the floor with himself, producing a silent bump. Bamboori quickly leaps up and throws himself on the guard, who tries to struggle free.
Bamboori: He's too... muscular... argh!
SirFrog casts a Spark (-8 MP) on the guard's balls.
SirFrog: That should set him quiet.
Bamboori: But the spark surely alarmed the other guards!
SirFrog: Don't worry, we're quite a bit from the camp and it's not so dark anymore. A spark would hardly be noticed.
Bamboori: Good... then... let's crouch nearer...
...
Drahcir blindly walks into the camp with his arms up. Two guards immediately approach him with their weapons.
Drahcir: Take me to your leader.
The guards try to take Drahcir's weapon, but he turns around.
Drahcir: Uh, I'm challenging your leader to a duel. One versus one.
Both the guards look at each other, then they shrugged and brought him to the leader's tent.
Bandit Leader: Who's this?
Drahcir: I've come to ask about my friend's condition.
Bandit Leader: Who, that swordsman?
Drahcir: Yes.
Bandit Leader: What do you want?
Drahcir: A duel. I fight you, without any of your henchmen interrupting.
Bandit Leader: A fight to death?
Drahcir: Well, um...
Bandit Leader: I have my pride. I won't duel for fun.
Drahcir: First you tell me, what happened to the swordsman?
Bandit Leader: Well... he's dead.
Drahcir: Dead?!
Bandit Leader: Yes. He has fallen after resisting against our guards.
Drahcir: No... no! It can't be!
Bandit Leader: But so it is.
Drahcir: You... you will pay for this!
The bandit leader grins. Rapidly he jumps up from his seat and glances at Drahcir with a sign of challenge in his eyes.
Bandit Leader: So... duel to death?
Drahcir: By all means! You will regret it!
Bandit Leader: There's more space outside. Get him out!
...
Phil: So this is my great performance...
Phil looks over to Blue Phoenix, who is about to sneak behind the tents. With a fast bumping heart he awaits his sign to cause distraction.
Phil: But what if there's an even faster runner?
No more time to think. Blue Phoenix waves towards Phil. He is sweating.
Phil: It's a go!
Phil gets up, starts walking slowly, then, the nearer he gets to the camp, the faster his steps. When he is about to reach the first tent, he throws up his arms, waves them like crazy, starts running directly through the camp and screams.
Phil: AAAAAAAAAA
He notices some guards glance at him nervously, then they run after him.
Phil: (The more, the better.) Catch me if you can!
Phil passes a big tent right in the middle of the camp. At that moment he sees Drahcir and the Leader going out.
Phil: Your leader is fat!
More and more people start chasing him. Phil is satisfied with running.
He runs out of the camp. They still chase him, some fall back. But there is one bandit who keeps up with Phil's speed.
Phil: As long as he doesn't catch up...
And so he runs into the direction of the morning sun, a whole bunch of people chasing him.
Phil decision: Run in large rounds as to pass the camp to see what the others are up to, or run straight, trying to lose the bandits?
...
Bandit Leader: Nevermind the interruption, my men will take care of that idiot.
Drahcir: Today's the day you wish you were never born.
Bandit Leader: Oh, well, I could say the same to you. Guards! Build a ring around us.
They do as they were told. About three dozen of guards stand around Drahcir and the Bandit Leader. He draws his sword.
Bandit Leader: Ready to meet your doom?
Drahcir: You'll never guess how ready.

Blue Phoenix: There he goes. And runs.
Blue Phoenix walks to the side of the tent. Then he hears Phil screaming.
Blue Phoenix: Now or never!
He runs to the first tent of the camp, glances inside while he runs past. Nobody.
Next tent. Nobody again.
Another tent. Somebody sleeping.
And another tent. Two people playing some game.
Then he notices all the guards in the middle of the camp. Quickly he stops running and hides behind a tent. Apparently nobody saw him.
Blue Phoenix: And what now?
Blue Phoenix checks his backpack and takes out a small dagger.
Blue Phoenix: This will do.
He cuts a small hole into the tent and looks inside. Nobody.
Next tent. Same procedure. A bandit sleeping.
Quickly he turns around. No guards, just SirFrog's and Bamboori's heads peering to him from a distance.
This goes on until he reaches a tent which is already a long way from the place the duel is happening.
Blue Phoenix: They won't see or hear me now, they don't even look into this direction. I wonder what's happened.
He goes to the front of the tents and checks the first tent, just as somebody was about to leave it.
Bandit: Hey!
Blue Phoenix runs again, a bandit close behind him. Suddenly he sees a small stick in the air in the distance. Quickly he lets himself fall and covers his eyes.
Bandit: What the
And a bolt of light strikes him directly into his face. He falls unconscious immediately.
Blue Phoenix: Wow, thanks Nave. This must not happen again. I need to choose the tent he's most probably in.
Blue Phoenix gets up and looks around. All the tents look the same, except the big one the leader is in. But that one is just next to the ring of bandits.
Blue Phoenix decision: Continue checking the tents or try to get into the big tent?
...
Nave looks satisfied.
Nave: Guess I saved him, but that was close. I nearly hit him instead.
He glances further into the camp.
Nave: Maybe I can shoot at those bandits (forming a ring?), I'll leave some blinded for sure... but then I'd need to get nearer, and that means leaving my safe spot. And leaving Blue Phoenix without immediate help, as Bamboori and SirFrog are still quite far.
Nave decision: Stay in safe spot and guard Blue Phoenix, or sneak near the ring of bandits to confuse them with bolts of light?
...
SirFrog: I guess Nave saved him.
Bamboori: We should still get nearer, to be able to aid Blue Phoenix.
SirFrog: But we might get seen. See, there are some more guards who are stationary... they didn't follow Phil.
Bamboori: Or should we try to reach Nave and plan something with him?
SirFrog: The idea is good, but we'd need to go all around the camp... it could take quite long. And if we run, the guards will hear us. We can't walk straight through the camp without being seen.
Bamboori: Good point... hm... the problem is, we don't know what Nave is going to do next...
SirFrog and Bamboori decision: Stay in position, try to get to Nave or just get closer to be able to help Blue Phoenix if he gets in danger?
