Yay, Game Maker
To me I gues it would mostly be:
-More data changing options. A lot of data changers have come up with lots of good ideas but they just arent posible to do without hex and is simply not practical enough for hex.
-Open Source Yeah, I know this is never gonna happed
-Easter eggs. They are freaking fun to find.
if, else, switch, variables, for, do, while, repeat etc. Would be awesome for data changing.

Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.
One can learn a lot from reinventing wheels.
