I felt so free pointing out the proportion-issues:

Well, what does this diagram want to say?
~ your char is 2px higher than Jack. Not THAT important, but...
~ ...the chin is too high-up
~ the waist is 2 px too high-up again

Also, without looking at the proportions, your char seems to "fall" towards the front. His legs remind me of the first falling-sprite of any char. He should be more upright.

Anyways, pretty well shaded etc. Oh, and welcome back
