Blue Phoenix: Aw, heck! That wasn't too easy.
Phil: We're out of healing stuff too.
Bamboori: Gotta rely on Drahcir and Nave on that.
Nave: Okay, so let's go open that webbed passage.

Drahcir and Phil go to the passage and cut their way through the webs, which surprisingly are quite tough.

Phil: Ouf! Finally through. Let's check this room.
Drahcir: A small, round room. And as usual a chest in the middle.
Blue Phoenix: Hola guys! Don't you see there's somebody?
SirFrog: Indeed... a person is lying at the end of the room!

While Nave goes to open the chest, Blue Phoenix goes over to the body.

Blue Phoenix: Hm... might he be dead?

Blue Phoenix kneels down and tries to find out the body's status, when suddenly the body shoots upwards and jumps to the side, wielding a dangerously looking and glimmering sword.

???: Who's there?!
Blue Phoenix: *shocked*
Phil: Whoa!
Bamboori: Didn't see you there.
???: Who are you?
SirFrog: We are a group of adventurors. Our main goal is to destroy the Platiniac Army.
???: The Platiniac Army, eh? Well...
Drahcir: It's true.
???: I know.

The person, who actually is quite short, lowers his sword into his holster and pushes some of his medium-lengthed blonde hair to the side.

???: You seem trustworthy enough. I'll tell you my story.
Blue Phoenix: We're listening.
???: My name's snorsorbet, and, as you might already have been able to tell, I'm a snorbet.
Drahcir: A... what?
Nave: lol
SirFrog: snorbets are a human species, most of them who are short and have blonde hair. All of them have overnatural powers, mainly in the element Energy.
snorsorbet: Yeah. There's not many of us - most of them perished in this war longer ago.
Bamboori: A war...
snorsorbet: Yes, the Platiniac War.
Drahcir: The one currently going on?
snorsorbet: Exactly. The Platiniac Army is on a raid through the whole kingdom. The king decided to declare war, and now the Platiniac Army kills everybody they run into merciless. Half of the king's troops were eliminated by them, without being able to destroy even one of them. Many believe the Platiniac Warriors are not human; the answer is yet to come.
Blue Phoenix: And they don't storm the castle and kill the king?
snorsorbet: No. Why, is beyond me.
Phil: Well, how does that relate to you and your species?
snorsorbet: You must know that we snorbets are a peaceful species, who have an own tiny, yet happy kingdom in the middle of LFE Kingdom. Hardly any human knows about us, and there was only one way to reach our kingdom, as it is surrounded by the highest mountains.
SirFrog: So that's in there...! The snorbet Kingdom!
Blue Phoenix: I've wondered too...
snorsorbet: Yes. There's only an underground passage into our kingdom, and it is very well hidden. You could nearly say sealed, but no... only the king and some of his most trustful warriors know about the passage.
Bamboori: So what happened?
snorsorbet: Usually, during a war, we don't want to be involved in it, so we could live in peace for all times. One day a messenger appeared and delivered us a fatal message, part of the Platiniac Army had found the passage and were on the way to our kingdom. As you can imagine, it caused disaster.
Phil: Yea... but you knew about the Platiniac Army?
snorsorbet: It's the most known legend among the snorbets... it was believed to be a legend, but apparently it became true. Whereever they came from.
Blue Phoenix: The depths of hell.
snorsorbet: Anyways. Our king was furious, because that somebody found the passageway meant that one of the warriors who know about the passage is a traitor. We tried to clear the situation peacefully, but they abused our trust and rotted out the village. Luckily all the other villages could be informed in time and most of the people tried to hide...
Drahcir: That's cruel.
snorsorbet: Some tried to fight back but they were absolutely no match for them. They almost seemed immune against Energy.
Blue Phoenix: And then?
snorsorbet: The population spread, some tried to find shelter in the 'outer' world. I was among them, as you can see. My family was seperated from me as the Platiniac Army invaded our village. Luckily we had been warned in time and our escape was planned, but it didn't go perfectly...
Bamboori: That's bad.
snorsorbet: I followed some of my friends' families, and they happened to flee into the outer world. But, alas, some of the Platiniac Warriors were guarding the passage. We couldn't go back though, so we tried our luck and sped through. Only me and my best friend got through, as we were the most agile persons. I don't know what happened to his family...
Blue Phoenix: Wait... how old are you actually?
snorsorbet: I'm 15.
Blue Phoenix: Holy sh*t! That's pretty young.
snorsorbet: 15 is the age where snorbets usually mature from child to adult.
Blue Phoenix: A pretty fitting point of time.
snorsorbet: Anyways... we got to the outer world and followed the first path we saw, in hopes to get to any kind of inn. On the way a farmer of some kind took us with him and treated us like his own children. He didn't know we were snorbets.
Drahcir: And then...?
snorsorbet: It lasted for about a month. I could never forget about the incident in our home kingdom.
Bamboori: Totally understandable.
snorsorbet: Well, I never imagined something like this to happen. One morning I was waked up by the sound of horse hooves, getting fainter with time. I got up and checked the house.
Blue Phoenix: I sense disturbance...
snorsorbet: Yes. The farmer and my best friend were lying outside near the fields, both their bodies covered in blood, and both their faces wore an expression of surprise. The harvest of the previous week was gone.
Drahcir: Oh my...
snorsorbet: It was sunny. It was a nice day. But it didn't seem to fit at all. I left the farm without looking back. I only followed the path. From that moment on, all I wanted was revenge. Revenge on that Platiniac Army, and I planned to become a mighty warrior. We snorbets hate violence and war, but if force needs to be, then so it shall.
Blue Phoenix: And somehow you landed here.
snorsorbet: I started looking for day jobs in cities to earn money for food and drink. In my free time I practiced with my sword.
Drahcir: You have a sword even though you're a peaceful species?
snorsorbet: In our society it's not a weapon, but more a talisman of some sort. Anyways. Every few days I travelled further away. At some point I wanted to try out my skills as warrior and tried to find some sort of cave to fight monsters in.
Bamboori: Which happened to be this cave?
snorsorbet: Exactly. And immediately upon entering this cave a giant spider expected me. I noticed I was too weak and small for it, but it blocked the way out. Then other big spiders, not as big, but still big for my relations, drove me into the cave. They trapped me in here, then they started to close the passage. I couldn't escape.
Drahcir: That's too cruel.
snorsorbet: And before you ask, yes I saw this chest and the key in it, but it wasn't any use so I left it be. I walked to this corner and laid down, I was very exhausted. Must have fallen asleep, because next thing I remember was you *points at Blue Phoenix* kneeling above me.
I guess that's all.
SirFrog: Then we're a team. We have the same goal and you're too young to be out in this world all alone.
snorsorbet: It would be too nice...
Blue Phoenix: Would? We'll help you out for sure. And quite possibly you'll be a great help anyways.
snorsorbet: I thank you guys.
