You were wrong with the potential.
I think if you'll upload it to imageshack.us, then we'll see that it doesn't have that much odd pixels at all and etc.
You need to work more on the poses, and shading+perspective thingies.
Other than that, I know you have some potential spriting. You can become into a really nice spriter somewhen.
