Wow that is completely awesome, exactly what I wanted. Did you make it yourself or get it from somewhere? It reminds me of RuneScape lol. If you could make a few more frames, it would be awesome, if not I could just edit it myself.

For the sprites, I think it'll be fine if you use a base, then I'm pretty sure it could be continued by someone else. I also think Dennis is the best choice as a base, if you use something else I might have to go through all the frames (Walking, running, etc.) to make sure they have the right sprites numbered, because I think other chars' sprite sheets might have different frames at different numbers. That way the basic frames will remain the same and I won't have to edit them. Just thin Dennis eyebrows a bit and flatten his oversized head a bit and he'll be a perfect base for Eragon.

One mroe thing I did, when i was making the Eragon sprite, I put all the elements (Clothes, hair, jacket, etc,) On different layers, so it may be possible to copy, rotate and paste some pieces on every single frame. You could try that, just in case you were worrying about drawing every single frame.
