I made something too. I think my looks kinda more lfish, but Prince's drawing is better ;D.

Nice try But as you stated, I'd go for Prince's drawing myself, too.
On your sprite, he looks pretty old and his face looks somewhat weird to me.

nice pic gad the only thing bothering me is the eyes and that line under his mouth.
@neocrypt: yeah i ment 1px brush shading would be totally awesome. and would look awesome on his gray hair

This is what I'm going to do: I'll use the best face picture for the char, which currently is Prince's, and add the other 2 face pictures to the character in a new folder, so you can choose one of the other 2 face pictures if you like Gives the player more choice and the time Gad and me spent on the picture won't get to waste
