I think I'll cast another energy shield
snorsorbet (55+20eng ATK) attacks Village Robber 3 (?? DEF)! (HIT Roll: 12, DMG Roll: 4+1)
He deals 26 physical damage and 4 energy damage! Village Robber 3 collapses! (EXP +50) Suddenly a scream could be heard. Everybody turns into the direction of the scream. One of the three remaining robbers sinks to the floor. A little white shiny object is stuck inside his chest. A little black figure emerges from above the entrance door and throws another object. It hits another robber. Blue Phoenix: Defend! As the figure pulls out his hand fast again, he notices his bag is empty. Then he approaches the last robber and punches him several times. Amazingly the robber has no chance to resist. Just a second later he collapses. Blue Phoenix: Back off! The figure looks at the group. Then he speaks with a dark voice. ???: And who might you be? You don't look very bada** to me. Blue Phoenix: We're... uhm, adventurers. Nave: Yes. In search of the Platiniac Army. The figure remains silent. Then he takes off his mask. Dark hair, dark eyebrows, a mysterious face. ???: The Platiniac Army. snorsorbet: ...yes. ???: What do you want from them? SirFrog: Um, we want to rot them out. Blue Phoenix: *whispers to SirFrog* Ten bucks say he's gonna laugh now. ???: So so. Blue Phoenix: Excuse me... what? ???: That's my goal too. SirFrog: Where's the money? Blue Phoenix: Shht, we're sharing it, don't you know that. ???: I was sent by my master to investigate this case and perhaps try to do something against it. Nave: Who's your master? ???: I don't think I have to tell you. I've actually already told you too much. But you do seem sympathetic. Bamboori: I guess you could tell us a little about yourself, then? ???: Hm, why not. If you've been in a fight with these bandits, you can't be bad guys. Phil: Meaaaowowowow! snorsorbet: Translation: I want to have a rest. snorsorbet takes Phil onto his shoulder. Phil rolls himself together and takes a nap. ???: My name is Simon. I'm studying the arts of the Ninja in a Ninja school which is located in the far east of this kingdom. Nave: Could it be the land of Japan? Simon: Exactly. How do you know? Nave: I know you. Simon: Hm? Nave: You've jeopardized one of our missions. Simon: Eh? Blue Phoenix: Wait, what? Nave: No no, guys, that was way before our time. Must've been a year or two already. Simon: ...right. I know your face too, now that I look at it. Nave: Of course. I led those missions. Simon: Great going. We were only following orders. Nave: You should have been informed better. Simon: Our sources told us you were aiding the Platiniac Army in some way. Nave: Never! Do we look like suicidal? Razen is not evil! Simon: It's not my fault. Nave: Get your facts straight, little man. Blue Phoenix: Whoa, hold it guys. I don't get it. What's up? Nave: Before the Platiniac Army became this powerful, our little group of apprentices were ordered to investigate its situation. We located an information source and were on our way to collect it, but what happened? Simon: I sense it coming. Nave: This guy and his troops march in from above, distract all our people, even kill most of us with their ninja stars, then destroy the whole source! Blue Phoenix: What was the source? Nave: A little house containing hella lot of scrolls and probably information. They burnt it to the ground! Simon: We were under the impression, you would use the information to help the Platiniac Army. Nave: I was the only survivor. The ninja star didn't hit me where it could kill me. But I was in agony... Simon: I remember it clearly now. You were still moving. And I looked into your eyes. I could have killed you, but I didn't. Nave: You were too weak. Simon: Shush! Be glad! I saw something in your eyes that held me off from doing it. Nave: ... Bamboori: Guys, hold it. We need to focus now. SirFrog: Yeah, focus. That's the word. Blue Phoenix: Anyway, Simon, we could need every help we get in our quest. Don't let your past get into your way. Nave: I'd like to forget it, but I can't. I've always wanted revenge. snorsorbet: Nave, you need to try kililng that feeling. You're alive. Simon: Remember. If anybody else would have noticed you were alive, they would have killed you the instant. But I have a conscience. I listened to it. Nave: ...okay, I guess I can do it. Leave the past behind, grr! SirFrog: Don't worry, it's gonna be okay. The group tells Simon their story. Blue Phoenix: That'd be it. Simon: Hm, well, I guess I could come with you for a while if you're following the same goal I am. Let's roll, then. Simon the Ninja joins your team! --- You win the battle! You gain 384 EXP! Very well, one on MP and one on INT.
The skill point goes to Breeze of Chill! (OMG that spell is epic!) ^Apparently, he can't let me do that, so it's one on Lightning instead. But it's still epic in battles like these.

Blue Phoenix: We should get outta here.
snorsorbet slips out the front door and returns in a few seconds. snorsorbet: Clear! The group leaves the now empty tavern silently. Nave: So where to go, left or right? In any case we need to stay silent and get out of here as soon as possible. SirFrog: England is a whole bandit nest. Left or right? And more importantly, leave the town or still go somewhere?
