Original lf2 characters have the lines also in their hair. So, I wouldn't over-paint it. The highlights should be almost in the middle of the "spikes", and the shadows at the outer parts.
The face shading is good, though :)

I was thinking now snorsorbet, that the t-shirt is not lf2 style, like the face and hair is, but the t-shirt is strange. Don't know how to explain, if it's the shoulders position, or the t-shirt. See some facepics examples on lf2.
