... you guys really should try to write what you think, because I always have to interpret phrases to know what you were thinking when you wrote them down. This really annoys me, because I know, that others wont be able to interpret important posts in such a way and that then there will be misunderstandings as we all have experienced throughout the whole tournament, which btw. should have ended a few days ago...
Quote:Linad 've given up, so 0:1 to Oko
First of all: Do not try to use shortened forms of words or word groups if you do not know how to use them correctly. In some cases it even sounds better if you do not use them. What you wanted to say was:
"Linad gave up, so it is 0:1 for Oko."
Which btw. is wrong because you do not get any points for not fighting except that one point you get for the round. So I would interpret your phrase like this:
"Oko won against Linad, because Linad gave up."
Quote:Koczko & Monker 're going to play at tomorrow at the latest.
DSanimation & MasterLF2: i am waiting for finish your fight.
@DSanimation, the best way to contact Masterlf2 is to contact me i will to organize your meeting
Of course they are... and I am santaclaus.
This tournament is progressing so slowly... and why do people have to change their nick name while the tournament is running? Do they want to hide from their opponents? What's the matter?
Quote:Too late, I went. I was expecting to see him in the hamachi. I only just wrote this message.
You went where? You went home? Visiting someone else? I don't get it, lets activate that interpreter in my head again...
Ah ok, it tells me: "It is too late, I went offline."
But why does it matter if you go offline? I mean you can simply go online again right? I guess not even my interpreter did get it right.
To expect him to go online in hamachi is a good start and if someone does not show up, this one has to try to contact you using other ways of communication like Skype, ICQ, MSN etc. And why the hell has Domi to be a negotiator between participants of a tournament? Shouldn't participants want to do their fights? Isn't that the reason why they participated in the first place? Again: I cannot understand you guys.
"I only just wrote this message." Thanks captain obvious!
Seriously now: What did you want to tell us with that sentence? We need to know because the damn tournament will never finish if we go on like this...
I do not mean to blame one spezific person, but there are enough people participating in this tournament, who did not get the rules, because of a serious lag of the capability to understand and write english. Also there are many participants who do not care about their fights and cause the tournament to progress as slowly as it does right now.
Those 5 fights might take 10 minutes, I know that everyone who is participating has those 10 minutes in 10 days, so what is the problem?
Next tournament I am organizing, if I ever try to organize one in LFE, will have rules that prevent people who do not undestand English from participating. That will cause a much lower number of participants, but a much lower amount of misunderstandings too and will be fine. Now get your damn fights done!
