hmm, although it'd look kinda funny, but...... how 'bout making some flying ?-boxes that you can hit in order to get a power up? (talking about bg-dependent actions)

I've coded Koopa and the new background, and right now I'm scripting Stage 1 ^_^

that would be aweome if you could hit the boxes and get health or a weapon or some random weapon.
i am really liking the amount of progress you are making.
the new mario pics do look slightly better, but the old one is fine, you just need to lower his arms (by his side) a bit.
backrounds are really well done
the koopa trooper, as said before, moves too much (shaking too much)
and could i ask you, which GIF editor/maker do you use?

so what about taking the exe of silva and droping an object that creates balls with itr: k8
right where the boxes are staying
that would look like if you're hiting a box your gonna to get health
but a box can be used only once

Add black lines on the top and bottom of the bg, like the original BGs.

Gives it a more side-scrolly feel and makes all that "Man:x ....." stuff look better.
