Ramond's RPG Adventure v2.0
Nave concentrates.

Bamboori: Nave? Everything ok?
SirFrog: Psht, his senses are tingling. Do not disturb.
Nave: Well, I don't know why I haven't thought of it earlier. I sense a collected creamball of energy in the southern direction.
Blue Phoenix: Then let us proceed immediately!

And so the group follows the southern path. The path is decorated with torches and trees next to it and it seems this path is meant to lead somewhere important. When the group gets closer to the fat wooden block, they finally notice that it is in fact a giant podium with a lot of people on it. There are even more people in front of it.

Bamboori: There it is!
SirFrog: Drahcir!! We're coming!!

The group approaches a mass of people. Then they try to get into the front row.

Announcer: 570 gold coins! Do I hear more? Does anyone bid more? 570 to the one, two three! And this slave goes to that handsome young lad over there!

The crowd applaudes.
Simon reaches the front row first with his ninja skills. There he looks out for somebody who could look like a paladin.
snorsorbet and Purplecat are the next ones to reach the front row, and snorsorbet can identify Drahcir almost immediately.
The rest of the group finally squeezes through the crowd. Drahcir's one of the next few slaves to be sold.

Blue Phoenix: Drahcir!

Blue Phoenix's voice drowns in the ear-shattering screams and cheers as an auctioneer brings forth the next slave, a very muscular and bald guy in chains.
The immense heat of the sun and the crowd soon produces the first sweatballs on Blue Phoenix's forehead.

Blue Phoenix: Drahcir!
Nave: *shouts over to Blue Phoenix* I think we need a plan, and that pretty fast!

So, we've got 583 Gold, the last slave was sold for 570 so it might be just enough to buy drahcir if we're lucky... we could try that... OR we'll wait and see who's buying him, then stalk him when he leaves, check where he's living and assassiate him somewhere when no people are around to free drahcir

That second option looks alot more exciting, I'd go for that one... don't want to loose all our money at once

cant we bid on him? i mean thats the safest way

It'd waste all our money, is boring and we're not even sure if somebody else bids more than we're able to
i mean, that normal useless standart slave was sold for 570, drahcir looks alot stronger and way more awesome (he's one of us after all) , so the price might be even higher and we only have a total of 583 Gold

Stalking him and waitinh for an opurtunity to forcefully free him sounds way more exciting, aaahnd we've got a ninja and a magic sensing mage in our team, what could possibly go wrong??

Plot-convenient enemies? A fail on sensing? (assuming that sense is actually rolled, not automatic). DMs have a tendency of messing up plans without even meaning it. There's ALWAYS something that can go wrong.

Anyway, I suggest first seeing the auction and attempt to bid on him. If that fails, stalk, knock unconscious and steal Drahcir.

SirFrog: Let's wait for him to be sold, then we'll see what we can do!

The muscular slave is sold for 1250 gold coins, an actually immense amount of money. The buyer appears to be one of the richest of whole LFE kingdom.
The next few slaves are not spectacular by any means and are sold at a value ranging from 300 - 500 gold coins.

Blue Phoenix: Finally, Drahcir!

As Drahcir is brought forth, he finally spots Blue Phoenix and lifts his eyebrows in a manner of surprise. He wonders if they're here by coincidence.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the next slave... Exotic and powerful, wounded but strong-minded - I give you Mr. Hawksley!

Hearing that name gives Blue Phoenix the chills and forces him to roll his eyes at the same time. While the crowd cheers and applaudes uncontrolably, Blue Phoenix knows that the name reminds him of Marcus Hawk - the only lead the group has besides the snorbet kingdom.

Announcer: The starting price is as low as 100 gold coins! Absolutely stunning!
Bidder #1: I bid 120 gold coins!
Bidder #2: 150!
Bidder #3: 160!
Blue Phoenix: 200!
Announcer: Do I hear more than 200?!
Bidder #1: 220!
Bidder #?: 250!
Bidder #x: 300!!
Blue Phoenix: *in a burst of rage* 500!!
Announcer: 500, ladies and gentlemen!! Does anybody bid higher?!
Bidder ##: 550!
SirFrog: I don't think we're gonna make it...
Nave: Then we'll have to stick to my plan!
Blue Phoenix: 580!
Bidder #y: I bid 800!

Blue Phoenix curses the last bidder.

Announcer: 800! Does anybody bid more? 800 to the one, two, three! And he strikes again!!

The crowd applauds and cheers as the auctioneer brings Drahcir away from the stage. The group tries to follow him from the audience. SirFrog notices that a mass of dark clouds is approaching from the east.

SirFrog: The gods are not in favor of Drahcir being sold as a slave!
Nave: Or of him being called Mr. Hawksley!
snorsorbet: Or of the slave auction altogether!
Blue Phoenix: Dammit, I think we lost him!
Bamboori: There he is - just leaving the podium!

The auctioneer brings Drahcir to his buyer - the same rich person who bought the muscular slave.

Blue Phoenix: That's gay! As rich as he is, he must have quite a bit of protection.
Bamboori: Wait, he's leaving! I guess two slaves were enough for him!
Nave: We should follow them!

The group tries to squeeze through the crowd. After they can finally leave it behind, they notice the rich buyer in the distance walking down the path to Laneesh. Besides the chained slaves who walk closely behind him, four heavily armored people seem to be protective of the buyer. Those must be his bodyguards.

How strong are the chains?

I'm wondering if I can incite a riot among the slaves as soon as the rest of the group attacks.
