Devetal tries to revive Julian again. In your story Julian is just a monster and Devetal is this magician.

ermm... I have a suggestion... what if the big bad guy is in reality somebody from these "young fighters" who just set a trap for them. Then, he could actually be fighting with the good guys, but in the end, he'll be the endboss, and unleash all his power.... :P

@Lauli: I didn't notice that this story sounds like RN-lf2, i got the idea from a comic book^^
@Dazza: There is a monster (I'll make the sprite later, but in the final stage you have to fight the monster)
@Blue-Phoenix: I don't like the betrayers, maybe the big bad guy can used to be one of the fighters.
@Deus Ex Machina: yup, maybe that will work, i'm thinking about that

Btw, how about we have 2 villains team awake 2 legendary monster to fight each other, and fighters have to stop them? <the idea from pokemon diamond >

I'm writing a story line now and any more suggestion would be great ^^

You could also add something like an omni-potent person who helps you sometimes, but generally just talks sarcastically and makes fun of your people?

Lol u really do like pokemon. I like the idea of summoning 'big monsters' to fight each other. like in Naruto. I reckon there should be like a massive battle between like the good guys the bad guys and some treasure hunters or something.

OK, here is the story line for stage 1:

1-1: Introduction(+theme music)
A few bandits for warming up
1-2: Some bandits and hunters to fight
Rescue a hostage, he joins our team and give us a sword
1-3: Knowing that the fighters are on their way, the sorcerer (big bad guy) sent a lot of bandits and hunters. This stage is a big fight.
1-4: Another army of bandits is coming, suddenly, a fighter in white clothes appear and kill all the bandits in a flash!!
Who is that mysterious guy?

Stage 1 end..

Btw, i'm working on this character:

He's a ninja with sword skills, focusing on the air moves.
Progress: about 25% (both data and sprite)

PS;
Maybe in stage two (provided you keep the friends you gathered), at some point one of your friends leave, and somebody else comes. Then when your original friend comes back, you find out they hate each other and they start fighting.
Then you could choose which one to help ^_^
