Well that may sound stupid, but I'm just gonna stick with current version of armor.
I'll try to remake the image, but probably not going to change the outlook of armor itself.

Now that upper armor parts looks too close to croach. In this way he will be unable to do some kick moves (I know louis dont have much) but for movement its looks strange. Imagine if you would kick up, that would make him to feel discomfort
