To be fair, i think they are a little flat-butted. The technique is getting awesome tho. I especially like the first frame. Keep it up.

Not bad. All three are overcomplicated. The last one is the best, but probably I wouldn't guess what letters these are if you didn't say.
The first thing I don't like about it is the fact that this kind of design is mostly associated with street art, like graffiti. It's not very relevant to the type of art that you do I think. But that's just my thought over the style. Making a personal logo like that using just two letters and merging them is not very unique. It's a really common practice, which is not a good thing for a brand creation. What I would recommend is to try to create a symbol created of letters, something that would actually resemble of something that you are connected to or you want your art to be represented with. Look for example at my personal logo (which technically has to be remade, but I rly like the concept). Three letters then create a chameleon, which is strongly associated with what I want to be represented as, since gad means reptile. It's not a perfect example, but I mean to show you that you could show more than just two merged letters. Also check what colors would fit your design. I am anger, yes, maybe that one, or psycho? Some girls say that I am gallant..

I believe that having your initials put as a sign, can be called a personal logo. Not a matter of name anyway, but from what I understand you want this to be your sign. I would still recommend to think over the expression which is extremaly important when it comes to branding.
And I fully understand you. I also do different things from time to time. It's always good to extend your skills and knowledge, especially when we speak of graphics. And did you use vectors for this or rasters/pixels? |
