To be honest, I wasn't really excited about this song in the first few seconds. Sounded a little like it was forced to be depressing? If that makes sense, haha.
Then, when his voice rose a little at around 0:30, the song really caught me. Ten seconds later, I heard how his voice really burst into all its power and glory.

Really good song, man. I like it a lot!
Also, this particular acoustic version sounds definitely better than the original song.
