Uh, I know it's already answered but let's give it a try:
Snow doesn't really have a colour, because it's out of water. And since water is (about) transparent, snow should have the same colour. It only appears to be white, because the crystals are very fine-detailed. Yea. A bit exeggerated, give the point to vandesdelca if you want.

What about:
We only see colours because things reflect certain parts of the light. Therefore snow hasn't any colour at all, only the ability to reflect (nearly) all the light. Nah, give the point to vandelesca. Spoiler (Click to View) |
