I never understood the lyricism of naturalistic scenery, but you're not too bad. I liked Kingfisher for its colorfulness and the improved Titanic for the use of white on it. It looks pretty surreal, as in good, to me. For your manga tryouts, I can say that you could be a dadaist or a caricaturist, if you disfigure the bodies and faces even more. One way or the other, try to read some books about anatomy and continue drawing.
