I think we had better finish all the basic sprites before starting on moves etc.

Maybe.. I started with basics but didn't finish them. Turned to doing moves, because else I'd get bored and probably abandon Goku. Therefor I didn't yet finish my basic sprites yet either. They are just boring to do, so for me, it 's a part of motivation... Changes of finishing the character are higher if I don't get into the basic sprites too much in the beginning.
