its a little harder to make the light come from the right direction, but here, this is an attempt to give the tree texture:

And if you still want to bother with the trees, give them a texture like the ones in Lion Forrest.

And when you are already at it, rework something on the mountains. They don't match with the rest. Somehow. I don't know. Or maybe don't do it. Short sentence. No verb.

why is that bad?
yes...each was hand made
should i use a smaller brush, bluring it looks bad
or use less opacity?

why does blurring looks bad?

because it loses its texture
and its feel, and shape
it needs to be more defined (if that's the right word)
if you look on the leaves on a tree, they dont just all blend in, you can see each little leaf
but bluring it, you lose that, and that simple, yet good effect

EDIT: for azriel, i have made the archway/gateway hopefully look more like wood


but the effect i did on the first tree, didnt go so well for the other one
