one more thing i would like to do now is placing everything we've got so far in front of our eyes
so if anyone can write a thread that will include what we have got it would be great
(i suppose im not updated yet in all the details)

what we need in it:
-lore/background story
-stage mode (what will happened and how each stage will look)
-new chars list
-original chars list
-main new chars in the story (like the general and the wizard)
-new chars background (how they ended up in the story [like nino])
-original chars background (what happened to them in between the original story to our story)

after we will have all those organized in one thread it will be easier to know what else we need to think of
might also be good to get this thread sticky

and one last thing, we will need to keep this thread updated in the first post on what we add or change
so we could have easy access to the information without searching in its pages

I agree with most of your idea; I'm just not sure about putting the story mode in the same topic as we already got a seperate topic for it, with lots of text in it.

I suggest splitting it in 2 topics.

Story mode topic (existing topic):
-lore/background story
-stage mode (what will happened and how each stage will look)

Character overview topic (new topic):
-new chars list
-original chars list
-main new chars in the story (like the general and the wizard)
-new chars background (how they ended up in the story [like nino])
-original chars background (what happened to them in between the original story to our story)

I also think we should delete 2 topic:
- applications: we can discuss new applications in the conversation room;
- Which characters should be deleted: we can discuss this in the game elements topic (although I think Ramond is right about 1 thing: if you'd delete characters, it would be wrong to call it an extension)


By the way, I just contacted Marti Wong :) I asked him if there were any things he would have liked to add to the original game if he'd still be working on it, or if he would have done anything diffirently. I hope we'll get an answer and we can use it to make our mod even better ;)

I suggest asking for opinions in the general LF2 extended topic. I'll drop the subject there.

Edit: seems like most people other than us want Louis to be in :p So I guess we should keep him as a main character.

Please share yours thoughts on this post.

Edit: I also think we should discuss on one subject: making decisions. Right now, we 'just decide', usually because 2 or 3 people like something, which could be a good way to work with. Sometimes however, stuff is made before something is properly discussed (like the werewolf guy at the moment: movements are being made, while we're still discussing them). I think we need some kind of structure for this.

we should also make a google hangout for our team,
even if we are all busy, getting like 1 hour in 2-3 days could be good.
we can discuss the progress, and show what wev been working on and get instant feedback instead of posting hereand witing for others to reply
it can be more fluid.
and for the ones that dont have a mic or dont want to talk for some reason thats not a problem there is a chat for that.
but the main thing about it is that we all get to chat together, we get schelde time for the hangout and remainders to our phones when they begin (if we want to) and we get to share our screens, that could realy help showing progress giving feedback or just helping each other

We could try. I think 1 hour in 2-3 days is a bit much though. We could try to do it once a week maybe :)

We have to accept differences in committment and free time though. Not everybody might be able, or even want to, invest as much time on the mod. I am fine with doing more for the mod than others, I don't mind as long as the outcome is an epic LF2 modification ;) We could schedule a moment on google hangouts with anyone who wants to join in soon, even if it would be only us two. Perhaps next Sunday?

Nice idea, next Sunday should be fine for me :)
Even if not everybody of the team can check in I still think we can benefit out of it.

Apart from that, I wanted to let you know I'm leading a vacation camp for children till Saturday so I won't be able to make any progress in that time.
Anyway I might be able to take a look here so I'll be up to date :)
