[VB.NET] FLite Data Changer UPDATED 17th October 2009
#61
2 bugs so far:
-If you double click on a dat file (the always-open-with-this-program option is selected), you'll get an extra blank untitled. It maybe a feature but heck...
-If you open another dat file in a new tag, it won't allow you to save the previous dat file. You can only save it when quit.

@no one
You mean that the "open with" dialog in windows explorer shows FLiteDC's icon with no application name? Well, that's sorta predictable. I haven't added support for the windows shell yet.
And also, you're saying that you can't save files that are open in another tab except when FLiteDC is closing? This is when you switch to another tab and click save, right?
Hiding users' signatures and avatars was the best decision ever.

Even if I re-click at the old tab and press save or close all additional tabs and leave only one, I still can't save it.

I fixed the "saving in another tab" bug. Will be included in next release.

OK
DATA CHANGER UPDATED TO 1.7!!!!!!!!!
>>Download Here<<
Zomg. This took a long time.
Fixed no one's bug (XD). Saving a file in an older tab is possible now.
IN THIS VERSION:
OK. So some people have been requesting for the auto-insertion of tags.
That's possible now. BUT ONLY FOR FRAMES!!! I'm no DCer, so you will have to configure it youself.
Tutorial. HUGE PAGE STRETCH!!! (Click to View)
These tags can also be drag-and-dropped from main window.

THIS IS THE 200TH POST OF THE PROGRAMMING FORUM!!!
Anyway.
Need your opinions on this:
Should FLite Data Changer be a single-instance application? (Meaning that, only ONE 1 (e^(2pi(i))) FLite Data Changer can be open at any time.
I'm going to be adding file association soon, and this is a really important point.

nah
i think you should be able to run ne^(i42pi)(n being a normal number - larger than 0) windows of it
however if you already have two flites opened and open another dat file it should open inside the last window selected (not in a third one)
thus there needs to be some kind of 'new window' shortcut/menu option - just like 'new tab'
and you should then also be able to drag and drop tabs/files from and to any window you like

just my weird opinion

So you're saying that it shouldn't be single-instance but if there (is a) (are) FLite Data Changer(s) running, and a DAT file is clicked in Windows Explorer, it should open NOT IN A NEW WINDOW, but in a new tab in the last FLite Data Changer window executed.
