The Game Programmers Contest.
#61
Actually I created a song for my own game, but surely stealing some from another game will give a 100x higher quality bgm. Winner will be chosen through vote, so, tell me which is better? XD

But my game is still buggy, and yeah, only for 1vs1, so if you're alone.. I AM WORKING ON THAT.. desperately..
I am too stupid to make a computer player though :D , and even I myself don't have a good knowledge yet about the tactics and so on :\ .

EDIT:
WOHOO it works. But still sucks because when it's game over, the game closes, lol. Okay.. time to work on those less important things :x
Oh, and definitely gonna make recordings >=D

5 days left everybody. Start packing your games right away. Still got the last thing to do in the game(A-MaYheM):Some thing called A-Zone. Its like a line you pass thorough in the middle of the stage. When you do, every thing goes fast!(raise the fps lol) Even the music will go faster for more excitement.

Oh well, so we are all stressed out and need time. I'll tell you what, if 4 contestants agrees in extending the deadline, this will be fine. But i will only extend it to 31 August... The one who is okay with extending the deadline raise his hand.

I "raisehand".

My final entry for the contest :D
Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?8rm906cxxqe1kdy

"Pantul" is a competitive fast paced turn based abstract board puzzle game ;)
Download the game and open the Help page, that will explain most of the things.

How to start a game:

At first, it'll be quite hard to keep up with the speed, and probably you will make many mistakes :P , but as you play, there will be strategy to learn and tricks to discover, especially with the non-basic tiles :D .

I am planning to develop this game further. Actually I am going to make something like a small competition as a start :D . I'm gonna tweak the game a little bit and after this contest, I really want to do it.

To voters (to promote my entry ^^ ):
Consider my game features :D
1. Online play! This is the first time I made one, and luckily it works XD
2. Simple rules but hard to master. This is one criteria that can make a game design great :D
3. Recordings! :D . Competitions can go better with this feature. You won't lose a cool moment you want to save. Sometimes watching it again will help learning the trick to reproduce it :)
4. I composed the music myself :P . Those two musics.. I hope you like them, they are two of the best three I ever successfully made XD . I could have actually stolen some amazing songs from touhou, since it seems to be allowed here (well, just like we are allowed to take sound effects from other games).
5. Unique gameplay? It's rare to find a turn based game which is fast paced :P . The mechanics is also unique --> the ball moves twice during one turn, you have two timing choices to play a tile in each move. Timing has become one tricky part of the game as well :D

Until the last second of 21st August. Not only the last second, but the last second in the most late time zone (which is american samoa time zone :p) Time for them now is still Monday 12: 46 AM!.(this is a bonus 12 hours for me!!). Here is the time at their place: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=1033
(i did the best to delay the deadline :p). Good luck, I am working on mine at this moment.
And please all participants, post screenshots for your games so people get excited to try them out and vote.
