I'd go to prince_freeza's one. Only his face looks strange somehow.
Gad's nice and lf2-styled, but the cloth's colour is wrong... it should be red.

I made something too. I think my looks kinda more lfish, but Prince's drawing is better ;D.

Nice try But as you stated, I'd go for Prince's drawing myself, too.
On your sprite, he looks pretty old and his face looks somewhat weird to me.

This is what I'm going to do: I'll use the best face picture for the char, which currently is Prince's, and add the other 2 face pictures to the character in a new folder, so you can choose one of the other 2 face pictures if you like Gives the player more choice and the time Gad and me spent on the picture won't get to waste

Yeah I agree with freeza's one. Cool and quite LF2 styled.
The problem is his face. His cheeks look bulgy and plump... funny I'd say.
And the ear's a bit big.
Other than that, you've done a great job in the face, freeza.

I hope I'll have some free time soon, so I can work on him.. I get little sleep and have little time to get on the PC atm. Busy days. I just came home, check my stuff on the internet, and now I have to go again. Slowly starting to turn into an overkill.
