Let's be realistic, there must be limits to moves.
Whenever I use Davis I don't use the DP agaisnt human players (I have no such restriction agaisnt AI because the computer is a cheating bastard). My point here is the limits like 4 dragon punches, 4 tiger dashes, cloning, etc. Of course DoP lock cannot be allowed because that's not a move limit, that's sheer game breaker. There are always ways around moves, and players have patterns. Rudolf cloning, for instance: it has a decent time-delay before activating, leaving the player completely exposed to attacks in the time being. Of course, that's a problem in maps like Lee on Road, which brings to the reason why HK Coliseum only was used back then. With lengthy maps you automatically give an edge to ranged fighters. "But HK gives an edge to melee fighters!" Sort of. Characters have advantages over each other naturally (how can you disagree that a Davis' chances of winning agaisnt a Louis are much greater than a Davis versus Woody?) These edges however result from character types, not external factors (background).

Well Bamboori and Jerkington have already had their battle so is it too late to change the rules? And also, i don´t think this is serious tournament that we should have all expert rules, i think that:
-One Henry´s flute
-One John´s heal
-And one Rudolf´s clones
Are enough, and of course those milk etc. rules that Doj already mentioned.

it isn't to late for changing rules.

i have seen bamboori&Jerkington' s fight.
they not spamed with any clones or whatsoever.

i think not we gonna need this.

i think it's understandable not to play unfairy.

Well Woody´s D > J can also be used for fast move, not only to hit enemy :/ i oftenly use it to get a weapon or smthing.

actually, for me woodys TD is an extra dash attack (= you can dash after TD) with super pushing power used to finish combos (unfortunately, i rarely manage to that combo right= A+A+A+A+JA+D>J).
I tried to use it to get thru the stars and catch ya off-guard... but u were too fast :p
