[solved] Weapon not in game

I created a new weapon but it is not on LF2 I made the data (copied weapon 0 and changed it a bit Saved it under new name and put the location of the new sprites in the .dat file ) and I insertet the id in the data.txt under NEW id but it is not in the game it doesn't load it what's wrong with that

Weapons will only be used by the game as weapons on their specific ID-slots.
This means, if you want your weapon to be dropped from the sky like the other ones, you'll either need to add your ID via Hexing to the list of weapon IDs OR replace one of the already existing weapons with your one.

Why don't you show us your data file? That could help a lot.

He did say, the weapon doesn't even appear. How could this possibly be linked to the data file?
(If "data file" means "data.txt" in this case, nvm this edit)

Since the weapon works now you can download it , it is my first weapon so it isn't that good but I tried my best and here it is

EDIT: I tried it. It's pretty good especially for a first weapon, but I think you shouldn't make the handle so red.

1. First of all to take a screenshot (screen picture while playing using that weapon) you press the PrintScreen button on your keyboard while playing with that weapon to capture the monitor picture. [Usually PrintScreen button is located above the Insert/Home/Page Up buttons]
2. Paste [Ctrl + V] it in MS-Paint (Start Menu/Programs/Accessories/Paint)
3. Resize it if necessary.
4. Save the picture file contains the screenshot.
5. Upload it in websites like imageshack.us
6. Use the 'Insert Image' button in your post (or use the code below)

Looks like a clash of red, blue and black pixels...
I suppose it's something like a red-blue ice sword. To remove the black (also called "dirty") pixels, replace them with a pure black (RBG-value 0/0/0, it's the "casual" black).

If these black pixels are removed, the weapon looks quiete acceptable i suppose..

oh and you can cut/delete the unimportant part of screenshot and take only the important parts if you want (example only the 10 pixels around the davis and freeze)

Thanks for all your tips here it is again without all the dirty pix
