Just chec the tut section, it has an awesome amount of spriting tutorials. @char: The shading of his skin is nice. However, his right arm seems like a big chunk of wood, compared with his left ne. As well, shirts and pants need (more) shading. And for being LF2 styled the head is somewhat to small. Though this is may just a fake impression because of the lacking hair ^^ My Creations: (Click to View) Return (String) System.getNewsOfTheDay(); Barely active, expect slow responses. If at all. Hair should have a better shape and should be shaded,I like the shading on the arms and head though,You could also make the mouth visible and the eyes a little small.

Here see this tutorial:
http://www.lf-empire.de/forum/showthread.php?tid=3294 It'll teach you how to shade and make hair shapes. Thanks given by: joncisLT
All of the facial features need quite some work. Eyes and hair belong to the things that are rather hard to sprite, so look at a character from the original LF2 for reference. Best thing is to have it right next to your sprite so you can also compare sizes etc.
In this case, the mouth is far too big and dark for the usual character. Most sprites don't even have a real mouth, but things like mouth/nose are mostly done with the darker skin colour. Eyes need eyebrows. Again it is really important to look at other sprites. You also don't use a single dot for the iris of the eyes in LF2. T-shirt and pants still need shading. Also lowering the saturation a bit wouldn't hurt. Quite good for a first try, though. Proportions and skin-shading are fine. Skateboard: Perspective! You must be aware of the perspective you are using. Do you like at it more from above or from the side? How does it have to look then? The wheels look like you are at the height of the skate and look from aside, but then the "surface" has to be thinner. Hope you get what I mean. Thanks given by: chase123
