MotM in the end of the month.

Since I have seen motm i have thought this:
Why motm is in the begining of the month?
Ex: Silva posted real time DC in the january(I think this has been the main reason) while he is motm for february...

timewise, it is impossible to predict that X-member will do something awesome this month (like say, if silva posted the realtime dcer at the end of the month, would your argument hold)

What is the MotM?
The Member of the Month award is given on the first of each month to somebody who has shown outstanding achievements in the LF2-community.
Administrators ultimatively appoint these people but they do take suggestions from other members.

What would LF2 be without him? This man constantly pushes the limits of hex-editing, creating and releasing things that many people have only dreamt of. Initially, his contributions were just small overrides of pre-existing functions; but these have grown into much more elaborated projects, for example custom effects, AI copying, the DLL Framework, or now, freshly out, the Real Time Datachanger. Not to forget that he provides help, tutorials, and tons of advices to those that are seriously interested in hex-editing.

It doesn't matter when he made the real time datachanger its just he's always been amazing at hex-editing so he's being noted for it for this month.. after all MotM only started in October 2010

easy and simple explanation
he/she/it/unknown was awesome in month x, so he gets reward in the next month by being the member of the month.
Why? Because someoneelse still can do awesome stuff in month x, so we decide at the end of the month who is worthy.

Because quite frankly, at the beginning of month x you will not know who is going to be awesome during month x.

EDIT: Actually, you got a point there. Why does MotM always be the month we currently are in? Why can't we have, like, the MotM of February displayed during March, the MotM for March displayed in April and so forth?

Exactly,this is happening now."the MotM of February displayed during March" but the only difference of that is that it is called motm of march.

I am saying: the motm of february should be displayed in the last day of it(28);the motm of march should be displayed in the end of march(31).

well the motm award WAS displayed in the last day of february and WILL stay like that until the last day of march for the new award.

Erm no. The MotM is F5ed (refreshed) each 1st of a month and usually carries the MotM of the current month - which, now in retrospect, seems weird to me too.

Yes now bp has 6 awards. But if you open MotM,the last one is Lord Silva.
