Making moving inanimate objects summon other moving innanimate objects

(There's a reason why this title is very long)
It's so this post will contain nothing!

No.
I want to make it so that when thrown, Freeze' ice sword will summon another ice sword.
Said ice sword will move along the xyz axis.

still not very clear
but if you are talking about bringing one objects z movement to the one it spawns - thats impossible

youll have to do sth like freeze' icicles with a 'mother' object - but even there the icicles dont move the direction you pressed
(zmovement is only set by either AI/player or hit_j in type3 objects - there however it is only either up or down)

Don't take me wrong here, Lauli, but I think I'm not completely incompetent :/
Well, YinYin answered my question (sorta)
(that it's impossible :/)
UnSolved Indefinately, i guess.

EDIT:
Wait, YinYin,
I meant that I want it so that the 2nd ice sword mirrors the movement of the 1st.
And since the 1st moves along the z-axis, I want the 2nd one to do that too.

yes thats what ive been talking about
i still dont get what you really want to achieve with this

could it be solved by making the icesword spawn itself another one holding it - and dropping it once its back on the ground?

No, that won't work.
I can't even get the sword to move along an uncontrolled zaxis, so my plan's busted indefinately :/

well they would move together and become seperate objects as soon as they get hit or drop

They don't have to be separate, it'll disappear after about 20 TU's.
