Life without LFE/LF2
#1
Imagine what would have happened to you if you had never found out about LFE, would that have dramatically impacted you or would life still go on undisturbed?
Post how things would have played out if LFE weren't apart of your life.

for one thing i'd proboally never find out about spriting...
A sequence of variables thatre engraved since the beginning of the cosmos is responsible for animating things in reality

if it wasnt for lfe i wouldnt know what shading, spriting, proportions are, and wouldnt know how to draw i more than one style.

I wouldnt have gotten into an art school if it wasnt for lfe. Before that i only concidered art as a hobby

I have thought about this a lot of times.

I would go to another lf2 forum.Maybe I would study more.Maybe my life would be more in facebook, because other lf2's forums are not so active.

I wouldn't have become Somin if I weren't here :p I'd be just a regular Simon, which is not interesting at all.

<3 you all :)
Somin includes everything I've learnt here: DC, jokes, behaviour, mental strings and ecology problems! (previous two are just for the lol) Somin is everything I became, not what I was. It had a slow process of random accidents which taught me HOW to be Somin. This is the story about Somin, I hope you like it.
If you do happen to like it, check out www.somin.com, which somewhen will become my personal site!

if i wouldnt have found LFE i would learn dc every day again and again cause there`re no tutorials I where I can read some detailed stuff :p

(truth is: I started LFE Mainsite cause i wanted a place to show the tuts to public :p - community came way later...)

Life would be drastically changed.
I wouldn't be that good in english (w/e you spell it. The one word i am always unable to spell)
I wouldn't know how to draw proportions.
I would have never ever met such awesome guys.
I am a member since 2,5~ Years and since then i experienced a great community and a nice athmosphere.
There is always something to talk about.

Originally i wanted to create a thread about this but who cares.
What's with this development in the last months?
People are... getting lazy.
There are not really new Storys.
People dont release new Characters that frequently.
Almost no BG in the last time.
Heck even the Forum Mod died.
What's up with that?
I wouldn't count myself to one of the old fellows but those guys are slowly dissappearing.
It's like the young ones replace them.
The Problem is that those young ones didnt really ... catch the spirit.
They dont do awesome stuff or discover new methods (Hint to Alb who was really trying to do some new Techniques. Dc-ing wise.)

This is a personal appeal to everyone out there.
Team up with someone or make something.
You need to make something happen.
Atleast for me it feels like LF2 slowly drifts into oblivion.

Just my opinion.
I don't know if it's correct or if i am too sentimental or w/e.
Feel free to correct me.

Really I think life will not be not as interesting as now.
I found http://www.lf-empire.de.vu/ at ce_manual at lf2.5
I was lucky that I found it this address because there are different addresses in lf2.5.

@hacker
Very true
New guys are not so active, helpful or productive.Sure, not all are so.
And...yes,I have seen a lot of members who has been active until 2010 or 2009.Example: where is Sinow Rappy?

I would have never been inspired to do several of the projects that I have finished within the past two or three years. I would have never been compelled to learn digital art, and, as such, never would have bought my tablet or discovered certain societies. Without LFE, I would have never had the motivation to learn C#- something which I am still a beginner, but enjoying immensely- and therefore never learned that a wide variety of interesting things are available with tools I already have (i.e. a computer). Though I am a lurker, not even joining until recently, LFE and the community therein has, surprisingly, impacted my life in many positive ways.
