Why only a few special moves and a simple stage are original LF2 ?
#11
Maybe you all is right, but my opinion is if you make 15 or more moves you still don't use all moves because, you don't need that much moves, but if some moves you add in jump, rolling, defend and ect.THAT be good becouse 15 moves just on ground is to much

Imo, playing with 4 moves is boring and repetetive. The more moves you add, the more colorful the character becomes.

Adding more moves then a player could possibly use in a fight will cause the char to evolve some sort of "Hey, i can play the same char in three consecutive rounds, barely using a move twice"-dynamics.

Sure, for some people that's too complicated... but i love it :D

PS: Probably that's the reason why i like rudolph. He has a neat couple of moves and even more, after grapping an opponent you can use even more moves :D

Not if you use your creativity to create interesting combos and possibly enhance them with a help of a friend during a match.

to me it seems that someone who wants as many special moves as possible does not value the basic movements and attacks at all
as if they do not already add variety to the character
(may be true to some custom characters because those normal moves arent very imaginative
but that just creates very lopsided gameplay that only suits the ilovemanymoves-crowd, which will get boring soon)

+ fighting isn't about how often you use a move. It's rather how you combine them and use your environment to create even stronger combos.
In addition to that lf2 was also ment to be a mulitplayer game what point would there be to play together if everyone can spam the screen with his 17 different moves? isn't it more fun to create good teamwork moves with just this less moves?

should totally allow people to be all trolley on their birthday :D

I guess it's all about balancing, atm every single move of every char is usable, but if there is like 20, i'm sure you won't be using all of them. Also usually when you have 20 or more moves, there will be those overpwrd moves and moves that don't combo with any other moves. In normal LF2 every char has combos, and i think it's the best thing in LF2.
Might be back, might be not :^) anyways awesome to see you guys again!

I with Whaat opinion because so many moves in char is you won't need. Why you need 10(more or bit less) different ball attacks or some other attacks?
