hehe...thats pretty nice
love his lower legs and the way his hat is tilted down makes him look quite mysterious
his arm though looks a bit chubby and u might wanna define the wrinkles on his shirt
and give a greater contrast between the light and darks (on shirt) just like u did with the rest of his stuff...
A sequence of variables thatre engraved since the beginning of the cosmos is responsible for animating things in reality

Major improvement on the old sprites.
Exceptional, although for me now I can't quite tell what I'd like to change, but I know there is something I definately would, dunno what though.

Keep up the good work!
One day, I shall become, TUTORIAL-MAN: Superhero of writing overly long, overly annoying tutorials which most people probably won't read, but will give it a stab at the first 5 lines!

The left leg is short and the right one is large. Or left is way too large/right is way too small, depends on your style. I recommend you to flip the sprite horizontally, you should be able to recognize flaws almost inmediatly that way.

Neat hat :p

Maybe his right leg is sticking forward towards us so it looks larger.

I think bash is right with the legs, but, its way too big than it should be. I would recommend u to alter the bulgingness of the shirt. Gives an impression he has a big belly. The shading is freakin awesome. But what i feel is that , u gave too much of dark ( 3 rd and the darkest) color to the pant. While His hand has very little bit of darkest color. Way to go. Good luck

Following LF2 normal perspective, if the feets are like that then either the left one is underground or the right one is floating. In this standart perspective it's like we just have two dimensions, with no depth (this means that the backgrounds should have no depth, but BG and sprites' perspectives doesn't seem to match in LF2). If he wants to sprite the feet pointing at us, there is no need to change the perspective. If the perspective is changed, then the feet will create an oblique, non-horizontal line in the ground. That isn't a flaw by itself, but then you have to apply the same perspective for the whole body:

(The right and wrong marks are referring to the green lines, not the sprites)

I think It's possible to create weird perspectives curving these lines but compared to LF2 they will look weird, like drawings instead of sprites.

(I might be wrong, though, so feel free to correct me if I am)

Edit: In most of my sprites the char's right foot points towards the player, but I still use just "two dimensions":
