I think the secret is in the pens. There’s a big noticeable difference between a kabura pen and a G pen. Use google for more info.

well yeah i know it im not amateur.. im drawing from preaty long time and im not using comp for inking cause i have no tablet all my lineworks (collored) are done with ink.. what im asking for is technics of using pen.. i think i hold it wrong :/

you should use 0.05 size

use this pen for the large black part ( bg , hair )

for your lovely diary

WHOAH I NEVER HEARD OF THESE BEFOR! seams to be genius! when i use pen i must always watch out for ink it can split everywhere, especialy when i put ion on paper i never know what side of nibgo forward. always scratch paper split ink everywhere. lines look ugly theyre height are difrent! *also ink dry often*

And betit : Hey, was all those manga pages made using pen and ink? O.O Really nice. But, how the hell would u get a smooth transition between highlight and shadow? Does it (the pen u use to draw) have waterpaint quality?

oh god sure i did =__=: i was talking about that pens.. you see this isnt normal pent you cant have that effect with normal pen this one is more llike iddle its close and safer (with ink) then using rib

both me and betit didnt metion even caligraphy o_O its only pen discription.. no wonder rib is =used to caligraphy so thse should be perfect to but sriously.. where did you get this idea from XP XD

Agreed. Nice coloring, indeed. Like an impressionistic painting. The moment is captured extremely well, petals in the air, laughing to the wind, etc. One thing, that I'm uncertain, is this: your characters' chins are too long (about half as long as that of a normal human), which makes them looks slightly funny, like Elvis Presley without the funky hair. But maybe that's your style.
