Wpoint problem
#1
I'm having a problem with some wpoints. I've been trying for about 1 1/2 hour now, so I'm getting sick of it.

This is the first frame of the move:

<frame> 254 Combozilla
pic: 225 state: 3 wait: 1 next: 255 dvx: 1 dvy: -3 dvz: 0 centerx: 32 centery: 78 hit_a: 0 hit_d: 0 hit_j: 0
bdy:
kind: 0 x: 15 y: 26 w: 31 h: 20
bdy_end:
bdy:
kind: 0 x: 24 y: 47 w: 22 h: 19
bdy_end:
wpoint:
kind: 1 x: 41 y: 29 weaponact: 32 attacking: 0 cover: 1 dvx: 0 dvy: 0 dvz: 0
wpoint_end:
<frame_end>

I selected the wpoint coördinates with Azriel's visual frame maker, so I'm pretty confident they should be alright. However, the weapon is always in the wrong position.

I already excluded a few things:
- I am not editing the wrong file (temporarily changed his name just to check)
- I am not editing the wrong frames (move works fine, and made sure by temporarily changing the wait values)

However, ANY changes the this wpoint just do not work!
I already tried changing some values, but the coördinates of the hold weapon are not changing a bit in the frames

EDIT: this problem occurs for the complete move. You can see it if you look closely while doing the move or if you do the move while pressing the F2 button to pause.

Any fix?? :|

Maybe you should add weaponact: in the right frame.
Go to weapon.dat, see frames "on hand",select one of them (which is the right one for you case) and then put the number of the selected frame in weaponact of wpoint of your character. ;)

This is already the right weaponact.. Problem is, that there is nothing wrong with the coördinates, weaponact and cover, they are all just like they should be, but it just shows the sprite in the wrong position.

Maybe you should make a mirror.
(If it isn't like that, just like empirefantasy adventure's bat talk, rotate the sprite horizontal and solved)

Thanks for all the replies..

I just noticed it happens everywhere in the data!

Even in his regular light weapon attack, jump and all of his moves.

EDIT: okay, very weird.. I checked and it happens in the original LF2 as well. So it probably is a problem with my computer or something.

Is there someone who is willing to see if the same problem occurs in their PC? Especially with the dash weapon attack?

It seems I need to clearify this problem. I know how to find the coördinates, this is not the problem. I mentioned the problem a few times..
