When someone becomes SS4, then his shirt tears away. Whatever is left in the torso is crimson fur. And SS4 will become super slow if fur transform in a shield or armor suit xD.

And in that ss4 form I think he gets his boots and gloves black.

His boots and gloves become white with a 40% of purple tint.

I actually read something about Toriyama being part of the team on the series though.
"Dragon Ball GT, was not based on his manga; however, Toriyama was still involved in the project by supervising its production, although in a limited way"
I haven't seen GT yet so I can't say anything lol
