Move Contest

Hey spriters
In this contest you dont have to sprite a single sprite, but a whole animation/move which resembles to the theme.
Everytime the theme is another kind of move e.g. attack, contermove etc. or even a full combo


Requirements:

- Must be a animation
- One entry per member.
- Must be posted at origional LF2-size (not e.g. 200/400 %)
- Your sprite must be related to the theme.
- Riped or recouloured sprites wont be accepted and you're not
allowed to post a sprite/animation you already made

Deadline: November 13th 2011 (may be changed if u need more time)

Theme this time: unique Punch/Kick!

Martial Arts Contest

Everytime the theme is another Martial Art kind of move e.g. attack, contermove etc...

- Your sprite must be related to the theme.
- Riped or recouloured sprites wont be accepted and you're not
allowed to post a sprite/animation you already made

As the reason of this contest is to resemble an martial art LF2ish it's okay if you just make templates, but im sure more people will vote for full sprited animations, its your desicion, and as i said i can still change deadline if you would need more.

Just try your best making clear which fighting style is resemled by those small sprites, take it as an challenge

A few possible themes: evading move (+attack?), counter move, ground move, kicking/punching/mixed combo, weapon combo..

I get the idea you're going for, but I think it's too limited. Perhaps you should start with one of the mentioned themes or something else that would be easy to step in, and use martial arts styles as a theme when you got this thing rolling.

You just have to change the date to 13/11/2011 (my 21st birthday!) instead of 2012

One question: can I join with sprites I'm going to make for SSJ Goku? I haven't made them yet, but I already got the design for the character.

Actually, I think xiao xiao(stickman) is the martial arts master. Besides, why do we draw templates or new sprites? Wouldn't it be easy just to draw stickman?

You can do that, but don't forget this is a sprites contest, so who would vote on a simple stickman figure?
