The data.txt is fine, don't worry ;)
Where did you put the sprites? Look into the data files, are the sprites in the correct place?
Maybe there are even missing some sprites.
Let's see if that helped.

Ah okay, I understand.
What path does it say in the data files? (Like sprites\sys\s-dennis.bmp for example)

Yes, of course. But that's not what I meant.
I thought that you should open a data file (S-Dennis.dat) and look what the bmp-part says.
Another question, on which files does the error message happen?
Are there too much other data files in your LF2?

Well, if there are too much sprites or other data files in your Lf2 sprite it says couldn't create art surface.Did you see such a message in your pc when the game was loading?

If it says couldn't create art surface; there is an extra information with it: path of bmp file...
If the correct picture is not in that path; it gives that error message.
SO, YOUR BMP FILES ARE NOT IN THE RIGHT PLACE OR SOME OF THEM ARE MISSING!!!

Then post here the bmp part of
"id: 55 type: 0 file: sprite\s-dennis\S-Dennis \S-Dennis.dat".
Don't send the bmp files. I just want bmp part of data(first lines which refer to bmp files)
