erm, one little question - the direct mediafire download from Toad Stool dont work for me, it loads and reload the same site instead of downloading the file, can anyone fix that?

works for me. ...and there's a 2mb upload limit on lfe attachments >=(

p.s. i have tried the collective download, liked apoc&mh's boss powers and yinyin's giant wasp. reaper's troll hand was amusing too (interactive elements are cool)

Alec,good bg but i dont think its very like boss fight bg in lf2,if there was lf2 funny mod,then it can be awesome.

LF2tim,nice idea,good looking bg,but if there julian can be made as statue and in better shape,then it will be awsme.
Ur bg bit remind one mission in Tomb Rider-Legend,where you at london going in museum,in that museum u finding cave where is suppose to be King Arthur Excalibur

Mund,nice effects sprites of bg,but u realy need to make bg parts do not go crazy when chars are walking,

reaper,good looking,bit sky to much blurred,i still do not like trolls hands in same place and they dont lift very high when hit

yinyin and chishio,nice bg,but it can be more 3d effect in bg,cuz when running,u can runn along,that orange color thing do not make very big 3d effect,good job

As I'm not an expert either in spriting or Backgrounds (I can be easily impressed), my judgement is mainly based on the theme.

Ducktopia: I totally love it! It reminds me Kirby's adventure (Nes nintendo - one of my first video games). I'm like waiting for King Dedede to appear.

But When i move, the rainbow and the shadows are blinking. That really lowers the general quality of the BG.

Olympia: Impressive, but I really didn't like to replace the original weapons.dat files.
Plus, the spriting style is too heavy for LF2. Doesn't fit well.
And, I don't see this BG as a Boss' realm (and greek mythology's kind of boring here).
Nevertheless: Really impressive.


Acherontic: Well done, really high spriting level.
But Z-axis too small.
Maybe the Boss won't show himself outside the castle...

JulianCave: Great idea. Some kind of Batcave.
But it lacks of quality compared with other entries.
That's why I won't vote for it.

Scientist's Lair: Awesome!!, But too cute to see a boss here. Probably, Frankenstein wasn't created in this Lab.

Vallenfyre: To me the best entry. This is totally a creepy Boss' realm !!!!!

BUT there is no readme.txt. You didn't follow the rules of the contest

Sunset at marina: Nice shot! It remains me Ken's realm in Street fighter 2 (Snes). Next time try to had depth to your Background.

Crystal Cave: Firstly, when I opened it, I said: Whao!
Then, I walked and I threw up. When the background scrolls, i fell drunk

Troll's Awakening: Good ideas... Though I think you know it, your spriting quality isn't the topest...

Toad Stool: Well, the background looks totally WIERD, and z-axis so small. Then F8...

Sooo, I vote for Toad Stool despite the BG is awful, it's the most entertaining (damn you Bee)
