[lf2 remake] applet preview

dun think i'll make it open source yet (it'll have to be in the future anyway, since it's Java can just decompile the files).

libraries... none coming from windows. just java stuff.

Took me 3 months. (I've stopped developing it for a while, i'm working on a web challenge and using the base engine for a "teaching applet")

hehe, interesting...
Me going to use a lot of libraries so I only have to program the core...
which I try to make it extremely fast... like 3000 characters on 1 screen and still fast...

so, there's a huge problem with the platforms.

when u have different bdys, you may intersect a platform object by just standing there, so when u try to walk, you'll appear on the opposite side of the platform as it reads that you are trying to go into it from the left. If u check only the right boundary when u're walking >, and the left boundary if you're walking <, some weird bugs happen (my guy stopped standing on the wall and went to the other side).

plus, this is just 1 dimension, so 3 dimensions makes it much harder...

hmmm, the only solution I have is the following:
did you define different kinds of bdy's yet? I mean, one for interacting with other characters and attacks, and a second one for platforms (which pretty much doesn't change at all so that you don't get these buggy things).

I dunno how realistic this is to make / how it'll look in game but this is really the only way I can imagine :(
