There WERE benefits as I said: "Make a member happy and feel here as a home"
If there is a war, then it's because of this stupid system. If someone leaves LFE for quite some time, he will surely want to come back.(I think someone here understand this feeling.) If there is no abusive rep, then there is always useless rep such as "Thanks for helping me with the code", what a waste, just thank his post and done.

Not quite right.
If you can control yourself, then you should understand it and ignore abusive things which is just for troling.
If someone wants to get attention by troling, then just ignore it, if you cant ignore, then you should do something about urself.
If person who tries to get attention dont get any, then he will stop, if he wont stop, then he/she is realy immature.
-rep which is just for giving fun, trol, is worthless so dont pay attention.
-rep which is for pointing bad things which is realy bad is useful.

I totally support that idea. It's making your previous mentioned method way more balanced.

I don't think there's more comments to talk now, even if there are good ideas about the best way to use the rep system, there will always be cons, and maybe one or two threads like "I'm leaving LFE forever..." will appear.

I hate people like that. People who want to stop discussions just because they think it is over.
I hate those nearly as much as people who deny your idea before you even have thought of it.

On topic: lets have one month test for rep system, and then we will see if we need it or not.

A month test that stop immediately when more than 5 members started spamming reps. However, they will be warned too. In case, something really happens.

That won't work. Since, the users will start spamming reps since the day it is started again. It won't even take a single day when more than 5 members started spamming reps. There will be a huge no. of spammers to be warned.

It's not like this exactly. It's like the members who hate the idea will spam to remove it again(not me of course). And a warning?!?, I think a permanent ban would be better.

Why people would start spamming that early?!!!
I don't think members will start spamming in the first month.Everybody is reading this thread and they are aware of the fact that they should not spam and they can be warned.
Members who don't like the idea of rep system probability will be inactive in rating and not spammers.
And permanent ban is not normal.
