Fake unread forum

Lately this has been appearing often, especially in Empire Zone forums. Firstly I thought it was unnecessary to post about this but this is not stopping.

That colored bandit is appeared even when there is not any new post.

I know that, when there is a new post in a sub-forum (ie. "Solved Problems" in "Bug Report"), checking out the thread once is not enough to make the bandit gray out; you'll have to actually navigate into that sub-forum to update the status. I don't actually know how that thing works; it's pure voodoo-magic

In doubt, you can always click on him to gray him out

Sometimes I click on that bandit.
Then I go directly to a different forum that I'm a member of.
When I return, that bandit is the same colour as when there's an unread post, even if I read all the posts.

So, that's how those black&white and color bandits works? Cool, I really don't know.

haha, seems like we have to make a guide about the awesome features this forum has, though that would require you BluePhoenix to update that guide every time you mess around with the forum :P

Well, it happen in forums which don't have sub-forums too. (Mostly in announcements forum.)

As you can't fix it, I am going to use click technique.
