I disagree. I've met(in person, I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands+) at least 3 scholars that agree that it's not saying that it was really created in 6 days.
Well, bible says in 6 days.

I read from your words that parents has force you to read bible and to be a believer. I am not that familiar with that because here most of the parents tell to their children to read bible or Quran. That's because most of the people do not take care about religion. Sometime they say their religion, because of their family (mostly before world war II), but not real believer.

if that was to me, no my parents did not force me to read the bible, and they did not care as I am an anti-ritualistic hindu, now atheist
also the religious books such as quran, bible (well the number of Lord and Ye annoyed me) and Bhagvad geeta (poems?? o.O) make no sense due to millions of transalations...

What? I just said 6 days are not like normal days, they are much more longer. Yeah earth has 4.5 milliard years that it has been created.

I'm starting to have an aversion towards these kinds of discussions. Unfortunately they are and will remain being of no use. It's sort of like music - probably a pinnacle of subjectiveness, yet you could effortlessly find somebody claiming genre superiority (with no trolling intentions) and being very serious about it.
It's always the same albeit slightly reshaped series of arguments said over and over again using different structures of sentences while deeper inside it's just reflection of your point of view that will have most likely no impact on the opposite side whatsoever.

Also as Silva mentioned prophets has been smart while writing rules. Example, prophet Muhamed disallowed eating pig's meant. The easy understanding reason was because it is harmful in hot places, like in Arabia.

Picking up your example for music; you'd be literally the only person at a concert, unless you try to persuade other people to come with you. If they come with you, you have more fun. The more people the better.

And some people are very persistent, as they probably don't realize that there already are thousands of people at the concert. But instead they just focus on that one person who's into classical music. If this person can't be convinced to go to a speed metal concert, then they have a sense of failure.

Sorry i have been away for some days now and i don't have time to read all 3 pages at once, but here's my opinion about the matter:
I also have got an ''religious upbringing/education''. But that's past. Now i'm almost 18years old, and i'm an atheist. Why? Becouse i just simply see it ridiculous to believe in something like god. ''There's no evidence of him being real, but the point is just to believe in him'', seriously, what the hell is this sh*t? We live the 2000s and there still really are people who blindly believe in god /____\
I don't know is this just my country's culture, but even when most of people are ''christians'' (=they belong to church) they still don't believe in god or jesus.
I also toy with the thought ''heck, it would be nice to have a religious friend who i could troll'', really, i would like that. When she/he would get bad grade from test i would ask ''why didn't god help you?'' and stuff like that. Also i would like to have a serious debate with him/her about god's existence. How would he/she ground the claim? The result of this debate would surely be ''well, i can't prove that god is real, but you can't prove he isn't''.

Bible is a holy book too written by Allah and sent along with one of his messegers, Jesus (may peace be upon him). People changed it to get their needs. For example, kings who wanted people to obey their rules, edited the book and added their rules over. But for Quran, god sent it along with one of his messengers, and his final one, Mohammed S.A.W(the seal of the prophets) and said that he is gonna save save this book from any change by himself.

People, lets think about it. Who created yah? where u created from no where? and how come the universal system moves this perfect?. there must be some thing great behind all this. yeah, that is god. some people simply think he doesn't exist because they nvr saw him. Well then how did u believe in electricity wen u can't c it? how can u believe in electromagnetic radiation wen u can't c it?. well ur answer will probably be: i believe that electricity is here because i can c that light on. And i believe in EMR because i can c the satelite working, and the wireless internet connection there working. Similarly, I believe in god because i can c how he made this universe, moving perfectly to suit living organism needs; plants feed on sunlight energy and other minerals in this soil, animals feeds on this plant, human feeds on animals, bacteria feeds on human, bacteria decomposes to form meneral in soil again...... and many other systems that I can't count. Just think about it.. Its not that you can't prove that god is there/ the problem is that you can't prove that god doesn't exist......... prove me wrong!!!.
