Well, I dunno if somebody figured this out yet. I just noticed that Google position (positioned by the most number of visitors) is a damn #2. And the new "#1" is facebook. I dunno but this is really irritating. Google is opened like 24/7. how can facebook win? What's the good thing in it? You can't search, open mail, translate or do anything but spam chatting... yet people visits it more!? There must be something wrong with their calculations.. don't you think?

Perhaps, it might be because that on facebook you communicate with people YOU ACTUALLY KNOW (and a few exceptions).
Where as on google you don't really do much other than search. Yes there are other services but google is mainly used for searching.

Now I believe you are using Alexa, and in that case there are pretty much no calculations. They simply have a toolbar that people install, it then collects data and it is put into a data base. It's basically additions that is used there.

You know, to enter some website, you can add to favourite, type adress, you do not need to use google, to find facebook or lfe.

Well, good for you to know that facebook has more visits/clicks/whatever than Google (and the reason behind that should be fairly obvious), but honestly, why do you even care? Not like it would change your life that much if Google had more visits than facebook...

people stay for many hours in facebook and they don't open google because they dont need it. they dont need to search for anything while they stay in contact people all the day. i dont thing it is something to wonder.

you know there is various options which allows you to open google or any other website, you can also make it to open in a new window

there is nothing to disscus with you.

On topic: i dont think its realy so important disscusion about facebook being popular.
Google search is used by people who does not use google (obvious isnt it?)
facebook is used by whole world, i know twiter also used by whole world, but many people use both.

Yeah Google is much more useful than Facebook - but usefulness isn't the only criteria. I need to check my facebook more than I have to visit google :/ . And A-MAN, you found it irritating, just like me! Not like I like using Facebook. It's just that I can't get other people on Facebook to use other medias I prefer to use.
